Thinking On and Thankful For......

My hope is to share this once a week and give you a little slice of what I am loving most at the moment, or perhaps what I just can't get off my mind..good or bad.

My Brother

I'm SO thankful for him and his passion to follow hard after Jesus.  His life is such an example of what God's redeeming and transforming grace looks like.  His perseverance inspires me to be a better Christ follower.

So thankful for and loving my daily 8:00am phone calls from my momma.

They are short and brief but start my day with a smile. Just this morning....

Mom: "Hey, what's new? Anything since we talked last night?"

Me: "Well, I've gone to the bathroom this morning."

Then we both busted out laughing.   She's a hoot.  I love her dearly.  I will never grow tired of her check in phone calls.  Thankful fo sho!!

Loving this movie.

Loving even more I got to experience watching it with almost my entire family. 

We even popped popcorn. 

So thankful for this one's safety!!!

I got the phone call that every parent dreads once our children begin to drive. Lauren was in a wreck and her frightened, shook-up voice when she called me broke my heart.  She was OK but the drive from our house to where the accident took place seemed like an eternity for me to get to her to give her a hug.

No one was hurt and I am so thankful for that.

Thankful for my new Kuerig!

Especially these flavors:  Wake-up call, Black Tiger, Jet Fuel, Donut Shop and Caramel Vanilla Cream

So thankful for these girls who bless my life  more than one person deserves. 

And last but certainly not least, I am thankful for this man who loves me unconditionally. He loves and accepts me with all my flaws. I'm thankful for every day we spend together and I'm loving it!
