Today makes 24 years of being this man's bride.
I love him more today than ever.
I love that I still fall for his shenanigans after all these years.
(he told to make sure I smiled when we took this pic. And I did...as if you can tell)
I love loving what he loves.
(confession: I'm a Tiger fan cuz he's a Tiger fan..i can live without football but i love watching football with him.)
I love I never have to feel self conscience.
Complete acceptance is one of the greatest gifts he's ever given me through the years.
He is my safe place.
He makes me feel beautiful whether I'm dolled up or not a dab of makeup in sight.
....Whether I'm a size 8 or a size 14.
I'm so thankful that at the age of 17 we said I do to a lifetime commitment....
(and yes. I'm pregnant)
And that in spite of our many mistakes,
God has chosen to use us for His glory.
We're not rich, we don't own much when it comes to worldly treasures, We've never traveled out of the country to exotic places together....
But I could have never imagined my "happily ever after" being more splendid than this.
This is my prayer for me and my man...
"Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing "
Psalm 92: 13-14
Praying for many more years together bearing fruit and flourishing for His glory.
